That's a hard question. I like a lot of German artists from the Interwar Period. Egon Schiele, Otto Dix, Max Beckmann, George Grosz. Emil Nolde has a similar style to this that I enjoy. Odilon Redon. Edvard Munch. Gustav Klimt. Some works by Picasso. Francis Bacon. Francisco Goya. Gustave Dore. I am a big fan of Robert Crumb. Modernist cartoon styling a la Cliff Roberts. Art Brut or outsider art. Naive art. That's all I can come up with right now!

this artwork has a soul trapped inside it. I get it.

This has potential. The obnoxious watermarks and cyan lineart along with pastel colors makes it hard to enjoy, let alone see the artwork. The background being mismatched and even more noise makes this worse. Try checking the values of things, put it in greyscale, also taking a break and coming back with fresh eyes. ...and maybe not plastic wrapping your art in a plastic wrap of signatures haha!!
despite this, i think with some changes it could be really cute.
